After wonderful success at the gorup competition, on Sunday June 27th our solo competitors headed back to the Ipswich Civic Centre to contest the 11-12 years Acrobatics solo competition for the Ipswich Junior Eietsddfod.

The section included some tough competition with a wonderful variety of skill in acrobatics, gymnastics, tumbling, contortion, balance and even rhythmic gymnastics skills.

Both girls did an outstanding job and we are so proud to have the represent the gym!

Selina S won 1st place in the tough division, with an outstanding 88 points!  She dazzled the audience with her incredible tumble and balance skill.

It was a close competition and Mia S was awarded Very Highly Commended (4th place), with an excellent score of 85.5 points.  Her tumbling was outstanding, and put together with a fantastic performance and stage presence she certainly wowed the audience.

Both girls will now head out to the Gold Coast on Tuesday to contest the 12 years and under acrobatics solos section at the Time To Shine Gold Coast competition.
