With all the ups and downs surrounding COVID, and some cancellations and postponments we were so excited to be able to take our Junior Team to compete at the 2021 Gold Coast eisteddfod on Sunday September 12th!

The Gold Coast eisteddfod is one of the largest Performing ARts competitions in the Southern Hemisphere and had to be cancelled in 2020 due to COVID.  Our kids were all set to compete in this even in mid August then lockdowns and restrictions postponed it once again.  Finally we could head down and perform on the amazing HOTA stage in mid September.

It's always such an exciting event, starting with warming up and tumbling by the beach as we prepare to take our skills to the stage.

Our Junior Team competed 2 routines in the 12 years and under Acrobatics section, facing soem tough competition they came away with 2nd place for their Willy Wonka routine and 3rd place with their Oliver routine.  Well done girls.

After this we enleashed our brand new Novelty routine, based on the Musical Matilda, winning 1st place in the 12 years and under Entertainment groups section.  Well done everyone!

Both our Junior and Senior Performance Teams are now busy preparing for the Noosa eisteddfod next weekend!
