The last few years have been so challenging for us all, and here we are ready to face yet another challenging year!
All Club Dynamite classes are on and running as normal at this time, our classes run as normal on School Holidays, so we are not affected by the school holiday extension. At this stage of the School holidays, we know that kids are getting restless (and often driving parents up the wall), they need stimulation, physical activity, structure, learning and social interaction. We are so lucky to be able to continue to offer that to our gymansts, while their holidays have been extended in a safe environment.
We are very lucky here at Club Dynamite, to be able to operate in a very low risk COVID environment due to the nature of our building. Our building have very high ceilings, two large roller doors and open air roof vents. All this allows the quality of the air in our gym to be very similar to air outdoors.
In the outdoors, when we breath out, the air particles are immediatly dispersed and mixed with fresh air, making it very difficult to catch COVID. This is why masks are not required out of doors. Indoors in enclosed environments (like the classroom), the air particles sit together, as there is little air flow, so that is why non ventillated spaces are not as safe. Inside the gymnastics area the risk of catching COVID is much lower than places like shops and classrooms.
We also have the great advantage of having a very large space, which allows for a great density ratio. The government reccomends a density of 1 person per 2 square metres, and most classrooms operate at around 1 person per 1 square metre. At our busiest times at Club Dynamite we operate at a ratio of 1 person per 10 square metres!
Of course no environment is totatlly risk free, and we have strict COVID safety measure in place. Our coaches wear masks and all staff are fully vaccinated. The kids do hand washing and sanitizing upon both entry and exit to the gym. All high touch surfaces are cleaned very regularly and we allow for make up lessons, so a gymnast does not need to attend lessons when sick.
If your gymnast can't attend lessons, due to illness just send us an email and we can arrange a make up lesson. If you have any issues at all and need to delay your start, due to the COVID situation, please send us an email to admin@clubdynamite.com.au and we can work it out for you.
We endeavour to do all we can to offer the best possible safe and healthy environment for our gymnasts, as we know that good physical activity and fitness, strengthens their immune system significantly.
