Our Junior Performance Team headed out to the Gold Coast on August 13th to perform at the amazing Home Of the Arts Theatre for toe 2022 Gold Coast eisteddfod.
The Gold Coast eisteddfod is the largest performing arts competition in the Southern Hemisphere and this year we celebrate its 40th anniversary!
Our Junior Performance Team competed in the 12 years and udner Acrobatics groups section, on saturday afternoon. They did a fabulous job with both their routines, hitting all their skills and showing amazing team work, technique and presicion. There was some tough competition but they emerged winning both 2nd place (for their Butterfly routine) and 3rd place (for their Ninjas routine).
All gymnasts were so professional, the rain meant that we needed to do our warming up in the hallway, but everyone showed what they were made of and absolutely shone on stage!
Next weekend we will be back for our Senior team to contest the open age division, while our Juniors and Minis prepare for their next competition, the future stars finals, in September.
