Our Mini Teamhgave all just completed 1 year of Performance gymnastics and qualified for the 2023 National finals in January.  The girls cut their holidays short to come and train for the competition which attracted 2512 competitiors from all over Australia, New Zeland and even the UK.

On Friday January 13th, they travelled down to the Gold Coast to represent QLD in theprestigious event!  The team competed 2 routines in 2 different sections and won both of their sections, making them Australian Champions.

8 years and under Production Groups (Annie Routine) - 1st place - National champions

8 years and udner Acrobatics Groups (Colours of the wind routine) - 1st place - National champions

Congratulations to all the girls who competed - Zoe F, Tiahna M, Chelsea D, Thea B, Emma T and Zara F.

On Saturday night most of the girls headed back down to celebrate their success at the Nationals after party, enjoying an evening of Pizza, Fairy Floss, Jumping castles, popcorn, Laser tag, sno cones and a dance party!

On Sunday January 14th, the team were invited back to perform their Acrobatics routine, in the Junior Grand final show in front of a huge audience.  they did an amazing job and represented QLD to well!

The judges were very impressed with their high level of Acrobatic skill and performance quality for kids aged just 7, 8 and 9 years old!

This ws our very first year having a Mini Performance Team and we could not be prouder of what they have achieved, going from brand new to the art of performance gymnastics to double National champions in just 12 months!
