Congratulations to our Senior Performance Team for being names the 2023 Acrobatics National champions!  Making all 3 of our Performance Teams Australian champions this year!

Our amazing Senior Team have worked hard for many years to reach the awesome standard they have achieved, competition isvery tough at the senior level and we are so proud of their achievements!

The team cut their holidays short to return to the gym on Tuesday Jan 10th to begin training for Nationals, not an easy thing todo a few weeks holiday, but the group worked hard and showed they were ready to hit the stage.

On Saturday January 14th they travelled down to the Gold Coast to compete against incredible competition from all over Australia, New Zealand and even the UK.

Our team started out in the Open division, with their "Inside of me" routine.  This was a tough section as it is open to absolutly any style of performance from acro, to hip hop, to musical theatre to tap and so much more.  It was the largest group section our teams had to encounter and they were awarded a special mention for their high standard routine.

Next it was time for the production division, where we performed "the broom routine" our own modern, acrobatic version of the song something better than this.  Our team really shone again some very tough competition, being awarded 2nd place in the prestigious section.

After some lunch and some fun, it was time for our speciality!  Our Senior team performed their "Carmina" routine in the Acrobatics section and just shone, winning 1st place and being named the new National Champions!

After a big day of performing, it was so much fun to finish with the after party, enjoying Pizza, popcorn, fairy floss, sno cones, jumping castles, laser tag and a dance party!

Congratulations to the team! - Isabella F, Brianna L, Jemma G, Kate P, Shyla P, Selina S. Skylah LH, Rebecca S and Ellie V!
