2023 Evolution Brisbane Junior Team

Our final team to compete at the 2023 Brisbane Evolution competition on Sunday may 23rd was our might Junior Performance Team! This team of 20 amazing gymansts were very excited for their first competition of the year! They have been working hard on 2 brand new routines, which we unveilved at the Edmund Rice Performing Arts Complex for the Evolution competition.
Our Junior Team range from 8-12 years of age and have been working together just since the start of the year, you wouldnt know that this team have only been together such a short time, with the amazing team work and cammeraderie we saw on the day.

Their first event for the day was the 12 years and under Acrobatics groups section. Our Junior performed their new "Mary Poppins" routine and won 3rd place in the tough division!
Next we competed in the 12 years and under Any Style section, with their new routine "Bui Doi" inspired by the Musical - Miss Saigon. The team did an amazing job and won 2nd place!
Both routines achieved amazing scores well into the 90's and have qualified for the National finals in January 2024!
Our Junior Team are already back in the gym busy preparing for their next competition, adding a new costume too. Their next competition will be in Saturday June 10th at the Ipswich Junior Eisteddfod!
