Sunday May 21st was a very exciting day for our Mini Performance Team as it was their very first competition at the Brisbane Evolution Competition.  Our Mini got to perform on stage at the wonderful Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre and won 1st place in the 8 years and under Acrobatics groups section.

This group of young gymnasts have been working together for just 4 months, and the average age of this team is just 7 years old.  For 70% of the team this is their very first year of Advanced gymnatics and performance.

They have blown us away with the incredible progress they have made, absoluty nailing their competition!

Not only did the team win 1st place in the 8 years and under acrobatics section, but they scored well into the 90's earning them a place at the National Finals in January 2024!

We could not be prouder.

Our Mini's are now busy preparing for their 2nd competition, the Ipswich Junior eisteddfod on June 9th at the Ipswich Civic Centre, and learning a 2nd routine to add to their competition repertoire!
