Congratulations to all of our Gymnasts who performed so successfully at the Ipswich Eisteddfod in June and july!  The Ipswich Eiusteddfod is one of the l;arghest in South east QLD, which competition going for over a month!

We started out on Saturday June 14th with our Mini and Intermediate Performance Teams.

Our Minis competed in the 8 years and under Novelty, Acro and All Styles section against many different Performance Styles.  The girls competed 2 routines and for both routines were awarded the Highly Commended award (tied for 5th place).  A very good achioevemebnt for a team, where all but one of the team members have onlky just begiun performance this year!

Later that evening our Intermediate Performance Team put on an incredoble show in the 12 years and under Acrobatics division.  Their routines were fabulopus, with huge progress already from out first comp to now.  Our Team won 2nd place with their "I Lived" routine and The Very Highly Commended Award (4th place) for their "Wicked" routine.

We returned on Sunday June 15th for our Senior Performance Team to compete in the Open age Acrobatics division.  This division is always tough and our seniors put on an awesome show, winning 3rd place for their "Queen" routine and the Very Highly Commended award (4th place) for their "My Immortal" routine.

Back to Ipswich we went the following weekened, on Saturday June 21st for our Sparkles and Junior Performance Teams.

Our Sparkles had an early morning start and we were blown away bu their incredible results, taking 2nd place in the big division in the 6 years and ubnder age group.

Our Juniors truly shone that evening, showing us that they are a force to be reckoned with, as they won BOTH 1st place and 2nd place with their 2 routines in the 10 years and under age division.

Our Performance teams are now bsuy preparing for their next comps, the Ipswich Performers Festival and The Gold Coast Eisteddfod in August.

But, we were noit done with the Ipswich Eisteddfod yet, as some of our Solo and Duop competitiors returned later in the month to contest the solo and duo sections.

On Friday June 27th, Zara W abnd Emma T took to the stage to contest the touch 10 years and under Acrobatics solo section.  Emma won 1st place in the touch competition.

And we finished the comnpetition off on Friday July 4th with Jemma G and Kate P contesting the 13-20 years Duos and trios section and winning 1st place to finish of a great comp.

Our Solo and duo competitiors are now busy preparing for the Gold Coast Eisteddfod in July.
